Season of the Witch: Enchantment, Terror, and Deliverance in the City of Love is a history book by best-selling author David Talbot.The book captures the dark history of San Francisco from the 1960s to the early 1980s utilizing a “kaleidoscopic narrative” and tells the story of how "the 1967 Summer of Love gave way to 20 or so winters of discontent." This is such an incredibly exciting time. Sure, the trials are in there, but they share space with wax museums, a street performer called Steve the Vampire, pirates, the TV show Bewitched, and a signature drink known as the Lobstertini. The white pages are told from Sabrina’s POV whereas the black pages alternate POV between the other characters from Nick, the woods, Prudence, Tommy Kinkle, Roz, Susie, Zelda, Hilda, Ambrose, Father Blackwood, and more. Brilliant historian Diana Bishop is a witch denying her own heritage. The main character Carmen, who was born into slavery but discovers her witch powers allow her to time-travel to the present day, where she can be free.

Season of the Witch: How the Occult Saved Rock 'n' Roll. The Witcher season 1 is based mainly on a collection of short stories called The Last Wish. This is definitely more of a travelogue than a history book.

Always a Witch/Siempre Bruja (Season 2) I gave this show an honorable mention during the first season, but I hesitated to recommend it strongly because it had a major flaw. Season of the Witch is set up a bit uniquely.
