The Center of the Galaxy is the end-game scenario for No Man's Sky's primary campaign.
The Atlas Path is one of three 'paths' you can take in your No Man's Sky adventure - the other two being, presumably, free exploration or hot-tailing it to the galactic core.
Came out on planet only 5000LY to centre (Ship must be retrieved but thats easy as long as you dont mind building a new base on the new planet).

The Galactic Hub’s address is a stickied post on their subreddit, and you’re gonna need it, because unless you’ve already been there you can’t learn the address of a planet. According to r/nms_zoology the max recorded height for a creature in No Man's Sky is 8.43ms. Mind you, I was only a few hundred light years away in the video, but I had originally gotten a waypoint on TopOfTheTree when I was 11 hops out (4000+ light years, or 16,000+ light years, depending on the method of measurement, since there’s a bug with all that). Not bad for one portal jump.
