Their world is situated on Earth-50 of DC's Multiverse To be clear, I know Marvel's Squadron Supreme is pretty much a straight translation of the traditional Justice League … But Marvel has found a way to make their own Justice League movie based on a team of superheroes called the Squadron Supreme. Squadron Supreme is a good version of the Squadron Sinister (so, good counterparts of the JLA) on Earth-712. While they are a big hit in the comic books, their movie counterpart did not fare so well. Squadron Supreme is a twelve-issue comic book miniseries published by Marvel Comics and featuring the eponymous superhero group. Well let’s start out by making it clear that there are no “official” counterparts since Marvel and DC both disavow making characters derivative of each other. A parody of sorts of the Justice League, a superhero team featured in DC Comics, the Squadron Supreme made guest appearances in Avengers, Thor, and The Defenders before receiving their own limited run in 1985.. Change of Heart (Volume 1, Issue 4) Edit The Squadron Supreme (Earth-712) While many people think of the Avengers as “Marvel’s Justice League,” the actual counterpart to the JLA is called the Squadron Supreme. The Justice League is DC’s greatest superhero team. J. Michael Straczynski retooled them in Supreme Power , re-doing character backstories which made them both more realistic and a little more distinct from their original versions (except for Hyperion, who became more like Superman ). The irony, of course, is that Nighthawk was designed as an homage to Batman in the Squadron Sinister and later Squadron Supreme (Marvel's looking-glass version of the Justice League). Marvel's Squadron Supreme is a direct take off of the classic DC Justice League lineup. The Justice Lords were brought into DC Comics' canonical Multiverse with The Multiversity Guidebook #1 by Grant Morrison in 2015. At the start of this story, they are recovering from mind control and faced with a collapse of civilization that makes them take steps they never would have considered in the past. But now there is a good Squadron Supreme on 616, and I think they're calling themselves the Squadron Supreme of America. The Squadron Supreme is a Marvel team based on the Justice League, it's members mirrors the respective Leaguers. Created in opposition of the Justice League the Injustice League has taken various forms; Major villains that have been a part of this team include the Joker, Lex Luthor and the Cheetah. Is there a DC equivalent to Marvel's Squadron Supreme, like an Avengers analog in the DC universe?
