As I was re-reading this series in preparation for this post, I ... We are a mother-daughter team dedicated to promoting literacy and education by helping others establish a culture of reading in their homes and beyond.

Iain M. Banks is the creator and the author of the Culture series.
But the boy thought it would be better to read them in order of Narnian history, beginning with the creation of the enchanted world in The Magician's Nephew. Series list: FBI (24 Books) by Catherine Coulter. The first book in this series came out in 1987 and is titled Consider Phlebas. These are numbered from I through VIII, below.
