God is all-powerful.

What does the Bible say? We’ve all heard the saying, “If God closes a door, he will open a window” or “if God closes one door, He will open another”.
We see this stated in 2 Peter 3:9. Jimmying the lock or trying to break the door down won’t work.
He knows our struggles, yet He sees our faith and our efforts to keep His name.

These specific phrases are not found in the Bible, (they are in fact, from the movie, The Sound of Music) but there are quite a few verses about closed doors that can be found. What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open. Jesus holds the keys and whatever he opens and closes is simply the action of fulfilling the will of God the Father.
