(Hesiod. 156. LEBRATED in ancient lore was Phttton, one of the sons Plicebus Apollo. A daughter of Oceanus and Thetys, and the wife of Japetus, by whom she became the mother of Atlas, Prometheus. Clymene was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology, daughter of the Titans Oceanus and Tethys, thus making her an Oceanid. KLYMENE (Clymene) was an Okeanid-nymph loved by the sun-god Helios. She was married to the Titan Iapetus, and they had four sons, Atlas, Epimetheus, Prometheus and Menoetius. Fab.
